Welcome to College Town Infant and Nursery School, I hope you find our website informative and useful. Should you choose this school for your child, we hope that you will quickly feel part of our school community. We aim to provide the very best we can for those children in our care and we achieve this by working together as a team. Governors, teachers, staff members, parents, children and all those involved in the work of the school are part of this teamwork and we value the contributions of each group and individual.

We want our school to be the first choice for you and your child. At College Town we provide an environment where children can continue to grow in self-respect and develop respect for others. We firmly believe that co-operation and fun go hand-in-hand which enables children to feel safe and secure in their learning.

We provide opportunities for children to put forward their ideas and opinions to encourage and involve pupils to be self motivated in their learning. The school is well resourced with a stimulating environment where children have access to high quality teaching and learning from skilled, enthusiastic, happy and caring staff.

Every opportunity will be exploited so that academic, spiritual, moral, physical, aesthetic, social and cultural development will be maximized. Staff, governors and parents work together in partnership to inspire and assist all children towards their goals; where there is a global commitment to the fulfillment of potential in an atmosphere of mutual respect, trust and high expectation.

This website aims to give you relevant information about the school and to support you and your child to discover more interesting facts about the topics covered at school. Tour dates for prospective parents are given on our website and these provide you with the opportunity to discuss the school in greater detail, ask questions and to visit the classes. This experience will allow you to witness children enjoying their learning first hand.
